Naomi Blondin, aka Painted Loon, is an Anishinaabe Algonquin Artist residing in the Ottawa Valley ON Canada. Member of the Kitigan Zibi First Nation - specializing in public art designs, proposal development, funding application consultation and project management.

Naomi was born in Laval QC, Canada and has spent most of her life in the Ottawa Valley region. Living with her husband and 2 children. Naomi comes from a long line of Algonquin artists in her family - basket weavers, singers, storytellers, canoe makers and visual artists. Her designs and concepts are inspired by her knowledge of Anishinaabe traditions, native medicines and cultural methodologies. Many of her works reflect the social and economical disparities of Indigenous communities in Canada and blends both the natural world and spiritual realm into unique concepts. Her passions and experiences are a vision of Indigenous sovereignty and strength. Seeing communities thrive and overcome historical and political oppressions.
